$NtServicePackUninstall$
$NtUninstall*
I saw an article in the knowledge base that stated how to safely
remove the $NtServicePackUninstall$ file, and it also instructed
to remove the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
\Windows 2000 Service Pack x
My registry has:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
\Windows 2000 Service Pack
(without the service pack number)
and with the element DisplayName having the content:
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
I'm not sure if MS means to remove DisplayName, or to remove the
folder icon that says "Windows 2000 Service Pack"
Can someone clarify?
