clipboard stops working

Hi!

Since a few days, I've the problem that my windows
clipboard simply stops working. No more copy and
paste. The only way to fix this is to reboot :-(
I've no clue what happens or which application might
be the cause of this phenomenon.

Right now, I've installed a
special clipboard tool that gives
me at least a clue: "Can't open clipboard"

Any Idea?

Check in services to see if Remote Proceedure Call is working (RPC), if it
isn't when the clipboard isn't working, then something is crashing it. Do
you have a virus scanner? I had a virus that would crash the RPC service,
then copy, paste, and excel wouldn't work.
