I've had a problem with this in the past and couldn't find
a resolution. I contacted Compaq and the only suggestion
they could come up with was to change the Power Supply.
This eerror has since occurred again, much less frequent i
might add - happening only once since the power was
replaced. It's still very much a mystery as to why it is
happening. Basically, as and when it decides, the server
is performing a shutdown, unexpectedly - it just shuts
down, restarts and displays an error in the system event
log.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hardware problems. But not necessarily the PS. Could be bad RAM or an
overheating situation....
